Melanjutkan pendidikan S3 sering kali menjadi momok mengerikan bagi perempuan. Sebab, beban ganda perempuansudah dimulai, bahkan sebelum ia mendaftar sekolah. Lingkungan sosial akan melontarkan berbagai pertanyaan, seperti “Untuk apa perempuan sekolah tinggi-tinggi?”.

Di tengah hingar-bingar gerakan anak muda global seperti Fridays for Future di Swedia, Generation Zero di Selandia Baru, atau Youth for Climate movement di Belgia, saya merasa skeptis, kurang percaya dan ragu-ragu dengan tingkat partisipasi anak muda di Indonesia dalam kegiatan yang pro lingkungan.

Sharing my anxious nights thinking about why TikTok influencers chose that pathway? While other influencers may focus on the ‘beautification’ of their visuals on Instagram blocks, these four young TikTok influencers have a totally different approach. Later, they were trapped inside their being famous, circle of money, and politics of social media.

[ASIAN EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT – JOURNAL, 2023] Why they do not care? Exploring young Indonesians’ low participation in proenvironmental activities
This is another thought that came from my anxiety about why people do not care about environmental issues when the facts show the real condition. I regularly found myself under very bad air pollutions, and unwanted garbage on the street, but no one gave a d*mn concern about it. When Purpose talked to me about their campaign, I totally jumped in to learn why this young generation chose to avoid the topic of ‘the environment’.
